After working full-time on the PulseWire team as site architect and content developer, I plunged headlong into UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism in 2007 – and it was a deep plunge. Here, I'm learning to tell stories and reach communities in new ways, as journalism struggles to find its place in a shifting media world. I, for one, have hope.

My Passions: The feeling of my eyes behind the camera, fingers on my piano keys, and new stamps in my passport.

My Challenges: Keeping up with the latest news and innovations in my feedreader before they catch up with me! Knowing when to say no.

My Vision for the Future: A new kind of journalism, an all-inclusive model for storytelling, giving voice and sharing information. I am excited about the possibilities for change, as journalism moves to embrace transparency, community and collaboration.
